Never give your woman crypto private keys

Never give anyone your private credentials, for anything! Period.

However, this is a do as I say, not as I do rule. :)
I have the online credentials of my parents (who are both 70+), and have for a few years. With one important difference. None of them are for financial things.

Around here it's almost not even possible, as we don't use username/password for such things, but specific hardware (dongle or wireless) or specific mobile apps with certificates installed with the use of aforementioned hardware. Pretty much nobody will let someone else have control over that, unless they themselves are incapable, which my parents are not. They are of clear mind. They just need help with IT stuff every now and then.

At the same time, I have increased their basic security, by enabling 2FA on most of their account, where they have both Authenticator apps on their phone, and each has their own Yubikey that I gave them as a Christmas present a few years ago. I gave Yubikeys to my siblings too. For my kids (who are now adults) I have taught them how to use Authenticator.
