lesson learned from this bear-bull circle

The #1 lesson I've learnt from this bull-bear cycle is minimizing portfolio spread. I knew there was a chance to lose money when I signed up, I didn't realize I'd lose so much time managing a broad portfolio. Time is much more valuable to me so I'll be jettisoning quite a few assets once prices recover.

Anyone else in the same predicament?
 
I just pick them up, keep a record and then forget about them, if you know you are in it the long hall, theres no point in wasting time constantly managing your portfolio, in five-ten years some could be worthless, but there will always be some gems
