Most investors haven't the slightest clue how crypto works. They understand on a basic level that it's digital money based on encryption, but that's it. Issues like transaction failure rate, block size, transaction fees, are far beyond the average investor. They just treat them like stocks. Good press release = it goes up, bad press release = it goes down.
All this hubbub over investing is stupid. To quote an analogy I heard somewhere, it's like someone built the first jet airplane, and people figured out the engine gets hot and are all excited about the fancy new heater to keep them warm.
